Wonderful choices (and I had Gennister in my mind while reading the books, so I'm happy to see him here). But my vote goes for Jason Isaacs as Thomas (come on, a modern, dark, short haired version of Lucius Malfoy in his beautiful suits and with a cane comes to mind immediately) :)

Freema Ageyman needs to be up there as Beverley!

After listening to the audiobooks, and looking up what Kobna Holdbrook-Smith looks like, I think he would make the perfect Peter in the flesh!

I submit Richard Ayoade for consideration as Peter. As a USian, I knew him not before seeing him in The Watch, which was _beyond _ abysmally bad ... but he did a fine job with the shockingly poor material at hand. I can see him capturing Peter's sense of humor.

Bizarrely I think Eddie Izzard in 'dark mode' would make a convincing Nightingale. TV weather man Liam Dutton is how I picture Peter Grant. Yes, a strange choice I know!

I could see both Julian Rhind-Tutt and Richard Armitage as Nightingale

I could totally picture Michael Obiora as Peter!

I vote for Ayoade. The combination of acting, comedy and gormless is just right. And for Nightingale Izzard is good.

Getting Gattis on board wouldn't hurt either

Ukweli Roach I'd be v happy with as he was brilliant in that otherwise awful series about angels who happened to be barristers in York (?!) and showed a great gift for comedy in Starlings. But Noel Clarke is a goodie too.

I've long since been a fan of Greg Davies and have a wish that he'd play detective Gunvald Larsson, in a tv adaptation of the Martin Beck mysteries, so him as Seawoll is a very tantalising prospect.

I'd suggest Georgia Moffett for Lesley, but I'm happy with Amy Beth Hayes.

Tachia Newell and Joanna Vanderham are exactly what I had in mind while reading the books! :-)

Iain Glenn as Nightingale. I second Noel Clarke, as Peter.

I think Sophia Myles would be good as Lesley and Martin Shaw should be considered for the role of Nightingale. I can't make my mind up about Peter!

I sort of had Daniel Anthony in mind when I first read the books, but I'm suddenly very sold on Louis Cordice or Eliot Knight.

I have never been able to let go of Mark Benton as Seawoll, no matter who else I see casted, same with Georgia Mofett for Lesley. Liz May Brice was Stephanopaulos for me. Katy and Miranda definitely don't sit quite right in my mind, though I love them both.

Would quite like to put Rupert Penry Jones forward as a Nightingale. I think it was Whitechapel that made me think it, but I really like it :3
