Day 19: Happy to be in Hornsey

HARINGAY

Hornsey Library
2.00 pm
7.4 km from Covent Garden

This is my library bruv! You get me?

I'm continuously amazed by the variety of the types of libraries I'm visiting. Hornsey Library is a flat roof, big windows 1960s affair with a rather nice interior and its own coffee shop. I like this trend of having coffee shops in libraries becaise I like to have coffee when I'm reading.
Vicky and Valeria
I was welcome to Hornsey by Vicky Orekoya and Valeria Padalino who had everything ready to go, including books at a discount and not a a bad audience for lunch time on a Sunday.

Up next - Kensington and Chelsea and Kilburn

I just thought I'd pop in to say I'm really enjoying this whistle-stop tour of London libraries. Like you I'm amazed at the variety, and impressed by all the librarians who are supporting this slightly insane endeavour!
