I am sorry Ben, but I live in Barnes, and you misplaced Bulls head by putting it straight on Putney bridge (it is close to Barnes bridge instead and should be put there as its a nice place and people should visit it). Hope to see Peter Grant in Barnes again as we have more good pubs and more than that. Awesome map idea. I will pop in for a pint in Chestnut Tree. D
Great idea with the map. I have been using Google maps and Street view since the first book and found it great to see some of the places that actually exist.
Thank you so much for this! I have been searching for information like this (for all your excellent books) all year! As an American who has only visited the London area once, this is so helpful. I had even considered trying to make a map like this myself. Thank you!
Thank you! I’ve been re-reading the books and diligently mapping everything on Google maps in anticipation of visiting London in November. Got the teenagers to do the audiobooks (they are lame readers), and now they want to see all the places too. Though there needs to be a Peter Grant walking tour of London, like the Doctor Who one that we plan to do.
That was fascinating. Thank you, sir.
ReplyDeleteMap! Map! Map!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Thanks! Thanks!
Trying to find your address to invite you to next year's national Norwegian convention. Could I ask you to write to me at hely (at) fhi.no, please?
